Kobe’s future with the Lakers in jeopardy!

Kobe is really pissed with the Lakers front office. This is not sounding good for Laker fans at all.

Bryant was asked if his seemingly strained relationship with the Lakers front office was ‘reparable.’

“I don’t know,” he said. “I got a headache. It’s been the worst day. I want to be a Laker forever. I love this team. I love this city. My kids love it here. I woke up this morning training hard, ready for USA Basketball…despite all of this. I finish my training…all of a sudden, I pick up the paper and read this ‘Laker insider’ thing, and that just absolutely took it to another level.”

Sounds like only one man can save them: Jerry West. Does the logo want to return to the Lakers? I think we will find out in the next month! Stay tuned!

A tale of two AJs

Since Doc went down to injury the Jays needed a new Ace and AJ Burnett has been pitching like one!!  Over his last 3 starts his ERA is 2.35 with a WHIP of 1.00 and a complete game.   AJ has been pitching amazing and is proving why he was signed to such a big contract.   I hope he can keep up all the hard work!

 The other AJ.   AJ Soprano.   If you haven’t watched sunday’s episode do not read on.   Man… I thought he might finally be stepping up as a man but instead he shows he is still a little bitch.   The guy couldn’t even successfully kill himself.   I didn’t think they could make him a bigger tool but the creators of the Sopranos proved me wrong again!

I hate LONG weekends

I hate these stupid non-holidays.   Don’t get me wrong I like not having to go to work but at the same time I don’t like how they are trying to force a party mentality on us.   So that means if you don’t party on a long weekend then you are missing out.   I use to go up to my cottage on a long weekend but then my parents sold it.   It is now a year later and you know what I have noticed:   Nobody invites me to their cottages.   I use to invite people to my cottage ALL THE TIME.   But nobody ever invites me to theirs.   The only other cottage I have been to is the Cheeseepeople’s cottage and I haven’t been there in over 15 years.  

How I Met Your Mother will RETURN!

Exciting news!   The Awesome family will return in the fall!   Thank you CBS!    Hopefully we can finally learn how he met their mother.

Going to the movies….

I went to the movies with my Dad on monday.   We saw the new Spider-man movie.   It was everything I thought it would be.   So much so I was planning on blogging about it but I decided to take this entry in an different direction.   We went to Silvercity Richmond Hill.  I haven’t been there in a while.   I was surprised with what I saw when I came through the door.   They had ropes blocking people from going past the ticket counter.   I picked up the tickets and while I waited for my Dad to finish parking the car, I asked the usher about the ropes.   I asked “What if I didn’t want to see a movie but had a craving for New York Fries?”   The guys said nope, I would have to buy a ticket.  Actually his answer was worded in a more stupid fashion but that was the overall message I got.   I use to work at this movie theatre and I remember it being a hangout for neighbourhood teenagers.   I think they are losing a lot of potiential revenue by blocking out the “food court” from people who are not seeing movies.   I can tell you this back when I quit I would have to go back in there and eat some of the food without seeing a movie.   I was addicted.  Now thinking about other theatres that I have frequented lately some do force you to buy tickets if you want to get to the concession stand but I also know some that do not.   I am curious if this is a company wide change or just the one location, I am going to poke my head into another theatre sometime soon.

After being very stubborn and sticking with my old blog a long time, I have finally got tired of it.   I have to say it wasn’t the fact that only one person was reading it (Thanks WIGSF!) but because I have had trouble logging in over the last month.   If I can’t log-in to my own blog then what is the point?   Am I right?   I still like the look of my old blog and I hate to lose all my old entires.   I need to drop the link here.     Hopefully I can truly get this thing started tonight. 

Raptors force Game #6 in New Jersey meanwhile Bob plays like a superstar!

Raptors weren’t the only people playing ball last night!   I did too!    I pulled into the school parking lot as the Raptors game was ending.   Although it was over an hour after our usual start time, there were only two people there.   We ended up with 7 people and played 3-on-3.    That is not good news for me because it means I have to take a bigger offensive role.   Well I did take on a bigger role on both ends of the court.    Felt like playoff basketball with hard fouls and great ball movement.   I scored on the fast break (I know fast and me in the same sentence!), with outside jumpers and I even scored with my back to the basket!!    Superstar!
