It finally happened!

A friend from my baseball team decided to attempt it. I decided to order it too just to show him some support. I wasn’t planning on trying to finish it in 7 minutes but I wanted to finish it. My buddy got off to an early lead as he eat all the fries in something like 2 minutes. The actual “burger” was actually just 3 burgers not a giant one like I expected. So we both separated them. Another baseball teammate filmed the whole thing (my friend, not me, nobody paid attention to me). The waitress was really into it and we started cheering him on. If Chuck Swirsky was there, he would have pulled out the salami and cheese. BUT alas my friend was not able to do it in time. He had I think 3/4 of a burger left. Later on a guy at bar attempted it. We cheered him on but he didn’t do any better. Actually after the time was up he disappeared. He returned a few minutes later wobbling back and forth looking like he was going to collapse.

First basemen, right?
By the way, I think next Saturday is Free Burger Day at Harvey’s. Every customer gets a free regular hamburger. Safe to assume you and the first baseman will be driving around hitting every Harvey’s in the GTA.

Free food and you’ve never been adversed to a gorging.

This reminds me of that John Candy movie. Good attempt by your friend though.
… it would take me 7 minute just to get through the fries.

Dude, I love free food but I hate line-ups and I am not sure if you have noticed the price of gas but going from location to location WOULD NOT have been “free”. I have more important things to do then do that crap.
