Vacationing in Banff, went to the ski resort, Sunshine today (not to be confused with the horrible movie called Sunshine from a couple of years back). Except the sun itself was hiding behind some clouds. Made the terrain very tough to see from a depth standpoint. I hit some bumps that I didn’t see coming before I hit them. Same thing happened to my Mom but she didn’t fare as well as I did. We dislocated her shoulder and pretty much broke her thumb. It was decided that we should continue to ski while my Dad took her to the hospital. I didn’t want to but alas we did and we had a few other adventures along the way. Hopefully I can blog a couple more times while here. Maybe I can blog about how I was playing Wizard today and lost the game on the last card because I made a fatal error that I never would have made a year ago.

Ain’t no sunshine….
January 28, 2009Interview Meme thing
January 22, 2009WIGSF did it and I asked to be interviewed because I wanted to see what kind of questions WIGSF would ask. Here are the questions and answers:
- Are you gonna go trolling for snow bunnies on your next ski vacation?
Probably not but I expect one of my friends to peer pressure me into doing so. I think I can withstand the pressure but who knows.
2. Raptors gonna make the playoffs?
I believe so but I am not a medical doctor so I can’t say with any certainty that Jose and JO will come back healthy. They probably won’t do well in the playoffs but I still think they are going to make it. Only 4 games back and Jose is expected back sometime in the next week.
3. Where do you see yourself, professionally, in five years?
This is the toughest question you asked. I honestly don’t know. I can list possibilities like teaching in a high school, working a different boring office job or being a manager at a crap retail store but I honestly don’t know. I have thought about asking you about opennings in your business at times. That is how lost I am professionally. If I had to pick one, I might end up putting the teaching position as the highest but I am unsure about that one and I think a teacher shouldn’t be unsure.
4. Right now, who’s better? Kobe or Lebron?
After the game from a couple of days ago, it is probably Kobe. Course last year I believe he was the MVP so it was probably him last year too. Lebron will be better but right now Kobe is a better defender and is still a better jump-shooter.
5. Have you ever seriously considered having me committed?
No, never. Considered having you killed but not committed. I have nothing to gain from it and really, I don’t think I can legally have you committed, maybe your parents could. I think I have their number somewhere.
LOST returns tonight!
January 21, 2009LOST is finally returning. I haven’t been reading much about it and I haven’t re-watched any episodes so I feel like I am out of the loop or something. But I am still anticipating its return tonight! Last year my cousins came to my place to watch it, this year I go to one of their places. One hour recap at 8pm and two hours of LOST-goodiness at 9pm. Long drive home but it will be worth it.
Erinn Hayes
January 16, 2009Although at this point in the show she is playing a pregnant character, she is another reason why I found myself watching “Worst Week”. I think she is beautiful. I saw her on the short-lived TV series, “Kitchen Confidential”. A very sexy girl. I would post s picture but I am at work and looking for the pictures would be in-appropriate. I hope this girl gets a lot of work in the future. I look forward to seeing her in this show and many others. I am not sure what it is about her.
That is it for “Worst Week” theme week. Didn’t go the way I planned but whatever. Remember to give it a chance on monday!
Taking a break from our theme week…
January 15, 2009This wasn’t planned. I will now have to combine two “Worst Week” blogs into one. But I feel I have to blog on the show I saw last night: “We will Rock You”. I was sitting in the second row for the show and it is weird being that close. This was my second time seeing the show and I didn’t remember the dancing to be so suggestive and sexual the first time but sitting in the first row, I can definitely tell you that they were. I was sure that one of the girls was going to pop out of her top at one point (she did not). I am not complaining but I have to say it is a different experience being up so close. sometimes the performers were looking right at you, it was weird. I did try to study their acting styles. Some girls look straight ahead, others try to look at the audience and engage the audience. Speaking about engaging the audience there were a couple of times they wanted the crowd to be pumped and to clap with the songs but the crowd sucked. They just weren’t into it like they should be. There were a couple of “Woo Girls” two rows behind us but I don’t count them since somebody cutting the cheese on stage would get them going. Overall once again a good show but disappointing in other aspects but that is nothing the performers can control (unless you count boobs not popping out of tops, that is something they can control).
Kurtwood Smith
January 13, 2009Its funny this blog entry was written a couple of weeks ago but after yesterday’s comment I felt I should add this line informing you of this. You called it:
One of the main reasons, I decided to give “Worst Week” a chance was because of Kurtwood Smith. He played “Red Forman” on “That 70s Show”. Loved him there and wanted to love him here too. I don’t think he has used the word “Dumbass” yet but he looks angry in pretty much every episode which is good.
Worst Week
January 12, 2009Worst Week is a new sitcom on CBS mondays. It airs after “Two and a 1/2 Men” at 9:30. I started watching it last month online, to help me get through a boring work day. And when I say “watch” I mean pretty much listen to, which doesn’t work well with this show since it uses some physical comedy like lighting a swimming pool on fire at a wedding. The show is funny but nothing special but I am still going to hilight it this week in my blog. Don’t forget, it is on tonight at 9:30 on CBS or on the E! channel here in Toronto.
Boston Pizza’s Mountain of Spaggetti and Meatballs
January 8, 2009Either my stomach is actually getting smaller or this thing is really a mountain (I am hoping it is a combination of the two). I ordered it the other day and I couldn’t finish it. There were only 4 meatballs but they were big but there was tons of spaggetti.
Jennifer Love Hewitt is single again!
January 7, 2009Why am I so happy about this news? There are five things I like about “Love” (that nickname is not one of the things:
1. The left one.
2. The right one.
3. Her integrity. She has never done a nude or topless scene. She has probably been offered lots of money to do so (with her big breasts, I am confident that it was A LOT of money) by studios and publications but she has stuck to her guns and I respect that.
4. Her beautiful face, Proactiv did a great job!
5. Her breasts. Together I think they form a great team that help carry a TV show and because they have never been seen, they are very mysterious but yet look quite perky!
Scrubs returns tonight!
January 6, 2009After forgetting about it, I was surprised to see Scrubs finally on the TV schedule. They are back! But with one possible major change, not on NBC anymore, they are on ABC. It is in its 8th and probably final season. Two new episodes are on tonight back-to-back starting at 9pm. If you miss them then they will re-air tomorrow. Kindof nice to see a network finally give this show some love. I am hoping the laughs continue this season but at the same time, I want the show to end. I like shows to have endings and not get cancelled and left hanging.
