What is the difference between jam and peanut butter?

The title there is just a dirty joke brought to you by HIMYM. 

Speaking about my calories intake yesterday, all through the morning I was keeping track and I wasn’t doing as well as the day before but after talking to some people, I was told that my calorie intake on monday might not have been as healthy as I thought it was.   I might have cut too many calories out.   I need to find a happy median.    That is one reason why I didn’t continue to count calories yesterday.   Another reason was because I visited my Grandparents last night.   I couldn’t exactly ask my Grandmother how many calories are in the pasta she made now could I?

    As a person with a nonna, you cannot accurately track caloric intake, so why try?
    Just shoot for tracking your own weight and width.
    Pasta increases both.

    I have been tracking my weight as you well know. But I wanted to understand what affects my weight so that I can get better at changing it.
