I finally said those words that Bobette has been waiting for me to say for three months (could be longer but she said them to me almost 3 months ago). We were in a hotel in Niagara falls, I thought it would be romantic. So I went for it. There were follow-up questions on “why I took so long” and “when did I know”. Those were tough to answer, I think I have wanted to say it for awhile but when she originally said it, I put too much power into the words, so much power that I was now scared to use them. I was honest with her. I told her although I feel this way, this doesn’t mean I want things to ramp up to a different level or anything. I like to think that I have been showing her for awhile how I feel about her. She knew, she just wanted to hear the words.
And NO, I did NOT propose WIGSF!!!

– Not sure what I am afraid of but you could say I was afraid of saying those words that I said to Bobette. I might have checked this one off this weekend. Or maybe I need to look deeper inside of myself for greater fears.

Sounds like you guys had a decent weekend. The words, however, don’t mean anything unless we use them with meaning. As long as you meant them, they’re powerful words. Otherwise they’re just … words.

How about some details about the weekend? (Other than the goings on in the hotel room with Bobette.) Nightclubs? Casino? IHOP? Where did you eat? What did you eat? I’m trying to live vicariously through you, dammit! I didn’t enjoy anything I ate all weekend. Give me something man!

For example, Saturday night. I tried Hero Certified Burger. Pass. Totally not worth being an 8 dollar burger. The patty was average. It was of decent size. This was a big burger, but the meat was bland. The bun was awful. For the same money, I can get two yummy little burgers at Wendys and get them in under 60 seconds.

If I’m in either of those areas (rare!!!), maybe I’ll give it a try. Until then, I’ll continue to make Wendys my regular burger.
