Got the monkey off our backs

Last night we played the same teams from the week before.   It rained most of the night, I told Bobette not to attend because of the rain and how cold it was.   In the first game, our bats woke up.   I had one of the biggest hits of the game with a big triple.   We won the game 20-8.

The second game was against the really good team we faced last week.   They are an older team and because of the old, some of them came up hurt.   We scored 7 runs immediately.   Sad to say they answered back with 7 in the bottom of the inning.   It was a back and forth game with both teams scoring a lot of runs.   In the end, we came up a little bit short and lost the game by 2 runs.

On the night I was 4-5 with 4 runs scored and I think 3 rbis.   Lifted my batting average to .667.   I am also hitting the ball where I am aiming.

So the team is now 1-3.   I can’t wait to face different teams.   I think this one team is the best team in the league.

#20 “101 Things to do Before you Die”  Get backstage and get off with a Rock God

– Okay there are a couple of problems with this one.    First, what is the definition of a “Rock God”?    I am sure WIGSF can help us with that, but what do they mean by “Get off”?   If it is what I think it is, HELL NO!

Well, there’s Shakira. Is she a rock god(dess)? Isn’t she the one with the devastating body? I dunno. Other than her, maybe Christina Aguilera, I can’t think of any rock gods with whom I’d want to “get off” if I weren’t married to teh awesome. Sounds a little dicey to me.

And WOOT! for a big game night! You go. 1-3, eh? Plenty of time to make it up, right?

There is a DJ on a local radio station and he calls himself The Rock God. I’ve seen him in person and he’s not.

Yay for winning! That’s awesome! Congratulations. 🙂

Yes, a rock god is what you think it is – like … Steven Tyler or Joe Perry (shadda WIGSF!) or someone famous like that. An icon. Bob Dylan, Robert Plant, Mick Jagger. Rock gods do not have to qualify in the looks department. Or singing ability.

And get off means exactly what you think it does.

So the book erred in not saying “god/goddess,” because you would definitely want a “goddess” and NOT a “god.”

I’ve been backstage. They have a ton of food back there!

many rock gods have had bisexual trysts: Bowie, Jagger, Mercury, Tyler, Elton John is still gay.

I bet if you asked really nicely (got him good and drunk first) Nosh would give you a ride.
