Wild Wings for Lunch?

Yesterday, I found out that a Wild Wings has opened about a 20 minute walk from my work.   I know WIGSF has had one near his work for awhile but i believe with his diet that he has stayed strong and rarely ever gone there.   I am wondering if they lunch specials are any good?   Do they have good value?

I will say this, from a health standpoint a 20 minute walk there and a 20 minute walk back would be good for me… but it wouldn’t leave me with very much time to enjoy my meal.   Tough choice.   I could ride the subway there but then I am spending way too much money.   Maybe I need to actually walk it and figure out how long it takes exactly.   Man I would love some “Sweet Escape” for lunch.

I think you’d do well to go there as a test run sometime. Be sure you won’t get in trouble if you’re a little late getting back from lunch, though. (Most of us FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES, ha!) don’t get admonished, so long as we’re not consistently abusive. If it’s too much time crunch, then consider that.

Man, a 20-minute walk would KILL my back. Also, in the dead of winter, that won’t likely be any fun.

Maybe you could eat lunch while you’re walking back? Or go there before work and then heat up the wings at work later for lunch? Or stop there on the way home and grab some wings for dinner?

A 40 min round trip walk does sort of seem like a bit much for a lunch break, I agree.

Too messy to eat on the way back. I could pick some up on the way home but at that point, I might as well go to dinner with friends and family.
